Cheryl studied violin for 4 years with Yossi Zivoni at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. After completing her degree course she went straight into a full time orchestral job with the Natal Philharmonic Orchestra in Durban, South Africa.

After 6 years of fulltime playing and returning to the UK, Cheryl started a successful freelance career, juggling it with bringing up a young family. She played with many professional orchestras including Ulster Orchestra, New Queens Hall Orchestra, English Sinfonia, London Concert Orchestra, London Gala Orchestra, English Festival Orchestra, London Bach Orchestra, Cyprus State Chamber Orchestra, London Academy Players and many others.

Cheryl runs the highly successful "Ariella Strings" and has a busy professional, freelancing career in and around the South Midlands. She co-ordinates all the groups and musicians in Ariella Strings and runs the business as well as her playing career.
