Document Title 1Chris studied Percussion and Timpani at Trinity College of Music. Graduating in 2003 he has since played with most leading orchestras, most recently with Britten Sinfonia, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra. Chris continues to enjoy playing chamber music guesting with ODuo and has toured Scotland, China and Italy in the last year. Chris started conducting with the South West Surrey Youth Orchestra last January and has relished the challenge of working with young musicians towards termly concerts. He studied Arranging and has started building a body of work for Percussion Quartet, Duo and for Orchestra and Voice. Chris plays as a freelancer with several bands most recently playing Bestival and Glastonbury with DJ Yoda the Trans Siberian March Band. Chris is a vastly experienced workshop leader and can deliver workshops in Samba, Djembe and World Percussion as well as composition and musicianship.
Outside of music Chris enjoys running and visiting country pubs.
