Document Title 1
Ian Hiscock studied Music at Roehampton Institute, gaining a University of London degree.
He was Head of Music at Ferndown Upper School in Dorset, Plymstock School in Devon and Director of Music at The Crypt School in Gloucester, with students who have gone on to study music at the highest university and conservatoire levels. During this time he had extensive experience of accompanying students for the full range of graded exams, GCSE and A level recitals and public performances.
He has been a senior examiner for OCR Performance Studies and that, along with his considerable teaching experience, places him ideally to tutor and support students currently studying for Music GCSE and A level qualifications in school or who seek to take them privately.
He co-directs the amateur ensemble Recorders @ Plymouth.
Ian performs as harpsichordist for The Greenwood Consort.
