Biography

Document Title 1

Benjamin Williams is a determined and self-motivated classical pianist. Described as a natural talent, Benjamin started his music education at the comparatively late age of 14. He has won numerous competitions in several counties and had lessons with renowned artists including Pascal Rogé, Christopher Elton and Edna Golandsky.

Currently studying at TrinityLaban under the guidance of Mikhail Kazakevich, Benjamin is in the final year of his undergraduate degree. Amongst Benjamin's performing career, he has débuted works by Michael Harvey and performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 with Orchestra. His proudest performance was of Saint-Saens Carnival of the Animals at Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh.

Strongly interested in chamber music, he has worked with violinists through to tuba players. Benjamin has enjoyed teaching piano and music theory for the past ten years. He holds an LTCL in instrumental teaching, awarded in 2017 and has experience in teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs. Benjamin's students regularly achieve Distinction in their Theory and Practical examinations. In 2018 he founded ‘Master Music Publications,’ a sheet music publishing house.
